East Tennessee  is known for many things...The Vols, The Smokies, Dollywood, and Davy Crockett just to name a few.  Perhaps less well-known, but also important are the area's culinary delights.  Cornbread, red beans, barbeque, okra, and grits are some of the dishes you will encounter here.  Some local menus will reflect these southern specialties while many simply submit a varied menu for your consideration.
