Granger County Tomato Festival - Rutledge, TN - July 24, 25, 2010
For over 10 summers, the Grainger County Tomato Festival has provided local entertainment and locally grown produce. Famous for their high-quality tomatos, arts and crafts and rotten tomato wars, this festival may become a family favorite. 

Mountain Makins Festival - Morristown, TN
October 22 (preview night), 23, 24, 2010
This award-winning festival is one you will not want to miss.  This festival is focuses on the traditional arts and crafts of Appalachia and workmanship of many other local artists.  Blown glass, jewelry, fine art, pottery and wood furniture are typical fare.  The spirit of Appalachia is truly kept alive at this festival through demonstrations: broom making, quilting, blacksmithing, wood carving, etc.  Come soak up the rich culture of East Tennessee at Mountain Makins this fall. 

Jefferson County Fair - Jefferson City, TN - July 29-August 7, 2010
If the demolition derby, antique tractor pulls, lawn mower races and livestock shows tickle your fancy, you might want to check out the county fair, an annual event held behind Jefferson County Middle School.

Dogwood Arts Festival - Knoxville, TN - April 2010
This annual event features nationally recognized Dogwood trails, art shows and home and garden shows.
